Dat kan! \nDe WereldDansWerkPlaats organiseert in samen werking met DwiBhumi een cursus van 10 lessen. Docente Nova laat jou kennis maken met Balinese dans! In deze cursus leer je basis bewegingen van de Balinese dans\, zoals lichaamshouding\, handen\, ogen\, voeten en gezichtsuitdrukking. Ook wordt er gedanst met voorwerpen\, zoals een waaier\, sluier\, speer en/of parasol. Naast deze basisbewegingen wordt er dieper ingegaan op de technieken van deze dans.  \nBalinese Dans heeft 3 varianten:  \n\nWali: heilige dans\nBebali: semi-heilige dans\nBalih-Balihan: entertainment dans\n\nIn deze cursus werkt je naar een vaste choreografie binnen de entertainment dans van Balinese dans.  \nData: vanaf donderdag 1 oktober \nTijd: \nDocente: Nova Burdo-Marseline\, DwiBhumi\nKosten: ntb\nLevel: beginners\nAanmelden: info@werelddanswerkplaats.nl \nOver DwiBhumi \nBali\, intense kleuren\, magische klanken\, intrigerende tempelceremonies\, sierlijke bewegingen\, elegante bevolking\, machtige vulkanen\, felgroene rijstvelden\, exotische geuren van wierook en bedwelmende bloemen . . . het Indonesische eiland Bali is voor ons\, DwiBhumi\, een niet aflatende bron van inspiratie! \nDwiBhumi betekent ’twee werelden’ en verwijst naar het Balinese concept van ‘sekala’ en ‘niskaka’ – de zichtbare\, tastbare wereld en de onzichtbare\, immateriële wereld waarop de religie van Bali is gebaseerd. Maar de ’twee werelden’ staan ook voor de Balinese en Nederlandse cultuur\, die letterlijk en figuurlijk mijlenver uit elkaar liggen\, maar door middel van kunst en cultuur met elkaar verbonden worden. \nDwiBhumi is in 1999 in Bali begonnen als samenwerking met het Museum Puri Lukisan in het dorp Ubud. Sinds 2003 zijn we in Nederland gevestigd en zien het als onze hoofdtaak om de kennis van en waardering voor Balinese kunst en cultuur door ons hele land te verspreiden. \nNova Burdo-Marseline is onze artistiek leidster en zij danst al sinds haar 8e Balinese dans. Ze heeft les gehad op dansscholen in Jakarta\, LKB Saraswati & Bulungan en in Ubud en Denpasar\, Bali. Naast Balinese dans is ze ook geschoold in andere Indonesische dansen\, zoals uit West Java\, Oost Java\, Kalimantan en Sumatra.\nSinds 2012 is zij bezig in de danswereld hier in Nederland en heeft zowel nationale als internationale optredens gegeven. Daarnaast heeft ze ook zowel dansworkshops en privé danslessen gegeven voor kinderen en volwassene.\nHaar missie is Indonesische dansen en dan met name Balinese dansen te promoten in Nederland.

DESCRIPTION:Butoh is een vorm van danstheater dat een breed scala aan activiteiten\, technieken en motivaties voor dans\, uitvoering of beweging omvat. De oorsprong bevond zich in Japan in de late jaren ’50.  \n\nDe workshop heeft als doel het gevoel van ontroering te prikkelen. Voor deze benadering wordt de kracht van beelden gebruikt om de beweging van het lichaam op gang te brengen. Een ontspannen toestand van het lichaam is de basis voor deze benadering. Afhankelijk van de voortgang tijdens de workshop gebruiken we steeds meer abstracte beelden om de beweging op gang te brengen.\n\nDeze workshop wordt in het Engels gegeven.\n\nVrijdag 30 oktober | 19.00 – 21.30 uur | Theater de Vaillant\n\nDocent: Tashi Iwaoka\nKosten: €15\,-\nLevel: beginners\, geen ervaring vereist\nAanmelden: info@werelddanswerkplaats.nl\n\n \n\nAbout Tahi Iwaoka\n\nTashi Iwaoka\, an Amsterdam based performance artist/mover\, studied Contemporary Arts BA (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University (1997-2001 Nottingham UK)\, Dance and Choreography as a guest student at School for New Dance Development (2002-2003 Amsterdam NL) and Performance Research at DasArts (2004-2007 Amsterdam NL). \n\nAfter his first Butoh experiences in 1997 with Kazuo Ohno and Kim Itoh in Japan\, Iwaoka practiced Butoh based bodywork for over 10 years. Since 2010 he is deeply influenced by Budo\, Japanese martial arts\, and working on finding the nucleus of human expression and connection\, in relation to the movement skills he has learnt. One of the central driving forces for this is the attempt to fuse his oriental roots and Western perspectives to form a more proper view on ‘being a human’ in this world. He wishes to disinter the universality of Eastern wisdom in order to help us understand what it is to be a human. \n\nIwaoka is one of the founders of Ehkä-production\, an international collective of independent performance and dance makers\, based in Turku\, Finland. \n\n \n\n
